What is this rock thing all about?

It’s a fun way that we’re encouraging others to get outside. Imagine it as a huge scavenger hunt, only you’re finding rocks instead of prizes.

How does this work?

When put out each rock, we take a photo of it, post that on our Instagram account at instagram.com/camping.kiddos and include clues to its location.

Then, our followers (and anyone else who is inclined) go out to find it!

What do I do with this rock?

We’d love it if you’d share a photo on your Instagram and use the hashtag #campingkiddosrock.

We’ll reshare all of the photos we’re tagged in to encourage even more families to participate in the fun.

You can keep the rock if you’d like, or you can rehide it somewhere else. If you do rehide it, let us know where the location is so we can track it along with our social media followers!

You can leave clues, too, if you’d like, or simply see who else comes across it.

Where did these rocks come from?

We use rocks that we’ve found around our property and some from crafting kits.

My 2 kids painted all of them, so you’re looking for a truly one-of-a-kind treasure out there.
